About Tais
My focus is empowering people, letting them know that they can achieve their goals, and supporting them with a kind approach.
No matter your age or physical condition, it’s never to late to start exercising and get fit. For example, one of my clients is 80 years old, he was having difficulty with circulation and balance, his arm muscles were getting smaller, and he was using a cane to walk. When we started he was unsure about the process, but as a Senior fitness instructor I know that is important to start with a program of progressive resistance training. He started working out with his own body weight, with a stretching and flexibility routine, and doing a lot of exercises for his balance. After one year his consistency paid off, his legs are stronger, his lower back pain is gone, and the doctor said that he can walk without the cane because his balance is great. He told me that his feeling like a 50 year old man!!
Watching people achieve more and do better each week is a rewarding experience. I love being part of someone's growth process and watching them realize things about themselves they didn't know existed.
I've been working as a physical therapy aide for the last 5 years, and I have two years of experience as a personal trainer. Having a background as an aide help me to create a program not only with the goal of helping you loosing weight but also with the intention of making you stronger, gain stamina and flexibility.
