About MELISSA
Im a Mother of three teenage athletes and a twenty plus year Seasoned Certified NASM Personal Trainer. I started my fitness journey at the Downtown YMCA of Central Florida teaching different variations of Aerobic Classes/Group Fitness. 🏋️ I did have the opportunity to personal train as a client myself through a few amazing leaders in the industry. This was the home where I was inspired to change lives! Just as my life was changed forever through Personal Training. I was trained through self discipline, determination and a great coach that believed in me, listened and helped me through my struggles. With those tools I was able to achieve goals in and out of the gym/studio and gain self confidence! Wow!!! This gave me the drive to want to share the same power of health/wellness, fitness and genuine happiness by passing the happy/confidence torch forward to Y❤️U. I was very fortunate to have met many clients through the organization that are with me still today.
I am an advocate for helping people become the best possible version of them self physically and mentally😁With years (decades) of personal and educational experience under my belt through NASM Certifications 📚.
I also was a dedicated Regional Coach for Orangetheory Fitness Corporate Studios🍊 for three years. Through OTF I learned how to Train Members (Group Training-ALL fitness levels along with One on One clients) through Science Base Metabolic Conditioning. This is a High Intensity Endurance, Strength and Power workout. It boost the metabolic rate so you are able to continue to burn additional calories up to 36 hours post workout. It’s efficient and the weight melts off🔥
I specialize in clientele looking for WEIGHT LOSS, corrective exercise, functional exercise rehabilitation, gain lean muscle mass, flexibility, sports performance athletes, stress reduction, low impact senior workouts/mobility, Pre-Post Natal, teen circuit strengthening and mental training. All Fitness Levels/restrictions/limitation welcome!
