About Richard
I have several years of experience that is based on educationally acquired skills and proven methods. As an Exercise Physiologist I have a keen understanding of how to implement safe and effective programs that deliver results.
I really enjoy the opportunity I have to journey with a client through the process of goal-setting, program development, Implementation and celebrating goal attainment. Another aspect of training that I like is educating clients about health and wellness and giving them tools they can continue to use beyond our time together.
I have a bachelors of science degree in exercise science from Georgia State University.

I like to do a consult first, which allows us to get to know one another and have an open discussion about goals and expectations. This is a great opportunity to walk through training sessions and determine the best way to promote exercise adherence.
I have worked with clients brand new to exercise, stay-at-home-moms, workout enthusiasts, runners and high school athletes.
This is a relationship business. You have to be able to communicate with your trainer and your trainer should be willing to understand your needs and help you set goals to achieve them. Make sure you are able to build rapport with your trainer. This will go a long way to ensuring you get the most out of your experience.
I recently worked with a stay at home mom, who had a second child. She wanted to lose 30 pounds and build some muscle tone. After about 4 months of training she was able to reduce body fat and increase muscle mass. She also had very noticeable increases in muscle definition.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Given the fact that much of the work falls on the customer, they should reflect on the question "Am I ready to commit to this program?'' before they spend their money.

Details
My pricing system is not complicated, but I do have a base rate for an hour of personal training and discounts for packages of multiples sessions. The price breakdown for my training is based on $45 per hour for individual one-on-one training and discounts of 10%, 15% and 20% for packages of 5, 10 and 20 personal training sessions respectively.
