About Tucker
I was born & raised in Ohio while moving to Cartersville, Georgia in January of 2021. I am currently the Recruiting Coordinator-Assistant Baseball Coach at Georgia Highlands College. I played at the division 2 level at Ohio Dominican University & Ohio Valley University. I also spent some time as an Area Scout for the Rockland Boulders in the Can-Am Professional Baseball League & as a Camp Instructor for the Cincinnati Reds. I have a passion for helping my players reach a goal they’ve always dreamt about.

I get excited whenever I see a young person with the drive to improve. Someone that is willing to go a long ways & understands the workout ethic it takes. I believe in small victories. Small victories will lead to big victories & that's the goal.
I really enjoy just building a relationship with the young person I am working with. Being able to communicate with each other is so important. Believing & celebrating small victories gets me extremely excited because that's one step closer to the main goal. I love everything that I get to do in life because helping someone is what God put me on this earth to do.
I've always wanted to teach. It's been a life long dream of mine. Coaching college baseball and having backgrounds in strength & conditioning is a passion & what God put me on this earth to do.
I hold a Bachelor's of Arts Degree in English & a Master's of Arts Degree in Organizational Leadership - Sports Management. I'm working on a Master's of Science in Kinesiology - Coaching Education.

We first establish the plan of attack for the overall goal. We will then work on our weaknesses while maintaining our strengths. I have a set plan for everyone, but the weekly plans will be different according to the athlete.
I have worked with every type of student. Every student is different & that's a reason why I love this job. The ages I've worked with recently are 9-18 years old. In the summer of 2013, I worked Youth Camps for the Cincinnati Reds & I worked with students ages 5-6 years old.
I have plenty of experience in teaching what I teach. I wouldn't be coaching at the collegiate level if I didn't know something in my area. I'm always learning. I'm motivated to get better & to improving my students! You will know exactly what you're doing with me every time we meet!
