About Kaitie
I like to combine arts & crafts with education. Art is one of the most important learning multipliers, along with music, math, and learning a new language. Practicing any of these skills will improve your academic performance in all other subjects. I especially love combing art and math, which is why I got my Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with minors in both mathematics and fine art. My lessons are catered to the specific age group of students but any age is welcome. My mom is a first grade teacher and I volunteer in her classroom frequently to read with kids, do face painting, and make art. I work with a variety of art supplies including paper, acrylic/tempera paint, watercolor paint, tissue paper, pencils, crayons, chalk, pastels, ink, fabric, and anything else I think would be fun and creative!
