About Shelly
For me, I just love to create. I enjoy finding something new, figuring out how to do it and just going for it. Currently I've been doing machine embroidery, sewing, cross stitch, latch hook, and vinyl work for years, some over 15 years. I have just made my first resin pieces so I am learning that process now. I went to college to become a teacher and find it rewarding to help others find something they love doing.
I've always wanted to teach. I'm in many Facebook groups and whenever there is a question I can answer, I do so. Sometimes to does take more than just pne comment to help though.
I attended college to be a teacher. I learned skills to be able to teach people a new topic. I have been sewing, cross stitch, and latch hook for about 15 years. I have done machine embroidery with the Brother PE 770 for about 7 years. I have done machine embroidery digitizing for about 4 years. I have used the Silhouette Cameo 3 and the software for about 2 years.

First, I like to find out experience level and what it is that someone is wanting to learn. Do they need the basics to get started? Or maybe, trying to figure out how to do something knew.
I have worked with kids as well as adults. I have 2 special needs children so have also worked with those that are neurodiversed.
Don't go with the first one. Talk to multiple teachers, see who you click with. It's all about who you understand and feel you can learn from with the most ease.
