About Jen
Creating something is the most satisfying feeling for me. I feel accomplished, proud, and free. I want that for my students. Creativity is a process that releases fear from the soul. You can’t be afraid of the outcome if it comes from within. You may always start over, but first you must start.
I am blessed to have a small studio where I am free to create and bring others along for the journey. Lessons consist of projects like paper crafts, resin projects, home decor, event specific projects, and more.

When I started feeling very comfortable as a crafter, I decided to reach out to others. Being confident in yourself and not being afraid to fail is huge in the creative process. I would often get requests to make things for others like gifts, event treats and decor, and personalized items. I found that I was encouraging people to make them on their own with my guidance, instead of me doing all of the work. This is what sparked the craft classes that are held today.
Creating is my passion. I have been a “crafter” for nearly 20 years. I have acquired many tools over the years that are beneficial in most of my classes. Many years of trial and error have given me the experience I need to consider myself a professional crafter in some aspects. Since starting my YouTube channel in the Fall of 2018, I have been able to record close to 100 projects videos, if for nothing else, just for my reference. Although not published, I have a project book containing hundreds of paper crafting projects that I am eager to share.

The best way to enroll for a class is visit my website and view the project schedule. Within the schedule are project listings. I would recommend choosing a project that interest you and go from there. Classes are small, usually no more than four students at a time. With the small number of students, this allows for one on one attention when needed.
My friends and students range in age and abilities. I have had 5 year olds in my studio working with paints and inks to create cards and gifts to grown adults just looking to try a new experience.
Just like music, dance, or sports lessons, you need to find someone with experience you can learn from. Find someone who enjoys sharing their talents and gifts.
Recently I was involved with a Mother’s Day Banquet in which I prepare all of the place settings, door prizes, and was the speaker for the event. Of course I spoke on creativity, and using your talents to inspire and encourage others.

Details
Lesson prices depend on the project for that specific class. My general fee for the classes are $15 per person per hour. Most classes are one hour, but there are several two hour classes as well. Material cost vary from class to class and are listed on the class schedule with their corresponding project.
