About Clair
I am a very passionate Biology graduate, keen to help students achieve their academic potential.
I completed GCSEs and A Levels at Sutton Coldfield Grammar School:
GCSEs - 10 A/A*s
A Level - Biology - A Chemistry - A Maths - A
I then undertook my undergraduate degree in Biology - First Class Honours
I am confident in being able to provide tuition for KS1-KS3, GCSE and A Level students. I am also able to help with SATs and Grammar School Admission Tests (11+).
I have been tutoring for just over a year currently, i also work for a private college (GCSE and A Level). Therefore i am familiar with Biology specifications.
I understand we are all working together through this difficult period, so i am happy to provide as much guidance and support for students whilst being unable to attend school currently.

I aim for my students to become confident, independent and reflective learners via interactive lessons.
My lessons are tailored to the individual student's needs, either topic by topic, revision or exam technique via powerpoints, past papers, mark schemes and discussion, i also like to provide all of my resources for students to use as revision tools for upcoming exams.
I am a very patient and friendly tutor and enjoy explaining concepts, helping students to understand the key principals and to make the required connections.
I am currently available to provide tuition via Microsoft Teams or Zoom.
I am enhanced DBS checked, required for my work within a college.
