About Peter
I'm a passionate teacher with 18 years of expirence in EMS, ER / Trauma nursing, Critical Care Transport, travel nursing, and informatics.
Whether its providing a big picture view of A&P concepts, nursing care plan reviews, evidence based practice, or simply career advice, I'm happy to help you meet your goals.
One of the best things about being a nurse is the pleuripotentiality of our field. I've been an ER Nurse, a Trauma Nurse, a Graduate Nurse Instructor, a Nursing Student Preceptor, a brand ambassador for a medical reference app, an Epic Systems Analyst, a Critical Care Transport Nurse, and most recently a vaccine clinic nurse. All these titles where only open to me because of becoming a Registered Nurse. I want to help you join my profession to see where it takes you!
Nursing isn't for everyone. But for those of us that are inspired to be nurses, there is no greater calling than helping those who need us. We are masters of that what others fear and thereby calm their fears as best we can with the tools we have. With that in mind we should all have the best quality tools we can, and the only way I know to improve our abilities is to study and practice relentlessly.
I was an instructor for Graduate Nurses at the University of Rochester Medical Center in NY. I instructed both didactic classes and preceptorships.
