About Katie
Hi there! My name is Katie. First and foremost, I am a Christian, so that will most certainly affect the repertoire we work on together. (Particularly for songwriting lessons).
I have played violin for 12 years. Notable performances including collaborating with localy symphonies, performing for weddings, graduations, and even an inaugural ball. I have studied music theory for 14 years, and have been writing songs since as long as I can remember. I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Liberty University in May 2025 with a B.S. in Commercial Music.
I desire to teach with a heart to serve the tailored interests of my students, and to cultivate a learning environment where creativity and excellence intersect.
