About Tina
Baxter Professional Services offers CPR, First Aid, TB validation, and other trainings. I also provide chronic disease management sessions, stress reduction sessions, wellness coaching, and other individualized coaching activities with as a board certified nurse practitioner. I also provide individual and business coaching if you are looking to start a business and need help in your finding your new career. I am available for public speaking at events. I can coach CNA, QMA, LPN and RN students with test preparation and reducing test anxiety. Any treatment modalities do not replace the medical advice of primary care provider and students are encouraged to seek medical help when necessary.
I enjoy helping others to reach their maximum potential and improve their overall quality of life. I like to come along side the individual to support them on their life's journey.
I started teaching as a nursing student, training individuals with CPR. When I talked to my patients, I notice there was a lack of teaching on practical things such as breaking your tasks up into doable chunks so you don't wear yourself out or cause your arthritis pain flare up. I have taught in the communnity setting classes to help indivduals cope with their chronic health conditions.
I have been a nurse for 24 years and have been in the healthcare field for 28 years. My specialities include geriatrics, mental health, addictions, holistic and parish nursing, and legal nurse consulting. I have a masters in nursing education and a post-master's as a nurse practictioner. I have taught at the university level, lectured across the country as a national speaker, and I am business owner.

I conduct an assessment of the student's needs and goals. I set up a phone call to discuss the program and the added value to relieve their stress and frustrations. I take a client centered approach with each student. I want each student to improve in his/hers/their overall health and wellness, no matter where they start individually. It is never too late to improve your wellbeing.
I have worked with children, teens and adults. Although my clinical practice as a nurse practitioner focuses on older adults, I have experience working with all ages as a nurse. I tailor each program to the individual student.
Be open to a new experience. Know that any process takes time. Do the homework and be a full participant in the process.
I love good music. I like to use music as a way of de-stressing and relaxing. I just like to dance around the house and be silly with my family.
