About Ashley
I love working with kids and watching the "light bulb" go off when they finally understand a concept. Since I am a teacher, I have access to a great curriculum and plehtora of resources
I love teaching kids how to read and watch their progess as they start with knowing their letter sounds to reading words and then onto reading books.
I was a crops member in Teach for America. I worked at my placement school for two years. From their I moved around to charter and public schools.
I have been a teacher for 6 years. I have taught Kindergarten, 2nd grade and 3rd grade. I currenlty tutor 3 4th graders.

I get to know the child and we discuss what they feel succesful at and what they need support with. If I still feel I need more information, I will give the child a placement test to understand what the currenlty know about the topic.
