About Jeff
My name is Jeff and I have been teaching and tutoring for about 25 years. I have an undergraduate degree in Math and a Ph.D. in Atmospheric Science. I presently teach at a university and was previously a research scientist in England.
I know how much people struggle with Math and Science and I understand how frustrating it can be. I approach tutoring with patience and a belief that we can make progress. Most of all, I love taking part in the experience of learning.

By far, the most fulfilling part of my job is to watch people learn and grow. I've struggled with material myself. I've put in long hours. I've hit the proverbial wall. I know how it feels. To observe another person hit that wall and then find their way over is very inspiring. I am incredibly fortunate to have a job in which I can play a role in helping people surmount those learning obstacles.
