About Tessa
I graduated high school from Pinecrest Academy in 2016. I am a Senior at Georgia Tech majoring in Computer Science planning to graduate in Spring 2020. I have tutored Math and other subjects in the past, but Math is by far my favorite.
I was a tutor to my peers and students in lower school while I was in high school at Pinecrest.
I was a tutor for Freshmen at Georgia Tech while I was in my 2nd year there. I received the tutor of the month award twice while tutoring at Georgia Tech.
My favorite subject in school was always Math. It came easy to me, I always understood it and it was always the subject I did the best in. When I was in high school, Math classes became harder. When I would not understand something, I would become frustrated and start to not like Math because I did not understand the concept and it was no longer easy for me. I want to help students be able to love Math (or at least like it) like I did. The best feeling a tutor or teacher gets is when the material finally clicks for the student and they start to understand.
