About Jennifer
As a pursuing valedictorian for my class, I have always ensured that I not only get good grades but that I strive for constant learning. Along the way throughout my high school career, I have tutored many students in the subjects of Mathematics, Physics, U.S. History, and Writing.
As being part of the AVID program, I served as a peer tutor to my fellow underclassmen, with a specialization in the early college program at my high school.
I have also received the Triple-A Award in Academics highlighting my achievements in my education.
As for my skills, I am academically inclined and am willing to share my knowledge with others in a versatile way that appeals to their learning styles. I also showcase my problem-solving abilities, friendliness, excellent communication, dependability, detail-orientation, and strong work ethic.
I began tutoring and educating other students in my freshman year, with many of my first customers being friends who needed help with their dual-credit Biology class.
I have been trained to be an AVID peer tutor for the underclassmen in my school. Being an early college student, I have had a higher education including enrollment in dual-credit classes such as Biology, Education, Speech, Government, Philosophy, Anatomy & Physiology, Chemistry, English, and Precalculus. As well as other advanced classes like AP World History, AP Physics, AP English, and AP Statistics.

I generally would like to get a grasp for the student's personality and their learning style, particularly learning which subjects are in their primary focus for strengthening or extra support.
I have worked with a variety of students including those with all learning styles (visual, auditory, kinesthetic), ranging intelligence levels, and many different personalities.
I would advise that a student is aware of which teaching style is best for their learning, as well as their compatibility with different teaching personalities.
