About Karissa
I am a junior secondary mathematics tutor who spends time outside of class tutoring students in math subjects! I use tutoring as a way to gain experience before I begin teaching. I've been tutoring multiple students since September 2019 and would love to add more students to my schedule!
I am a junior mathematics secondary education major at Shippensburg University where I've worked in the mathematics department tutoring center while also privately tutoring a few students outside of the university

First I like to set up a virtual meeting free of charge just to find out what exactly the student needs assistance with and to figure out the best way that I can help them. Then we will set up a time to have our tutoring sessions at whatever frequency is needed for the student.
