About Gurpinder
I help students build confidence in math and their ability to do hard things. I foster an environment where students feel safe to try, make mistakes, and truly learn. Someone who knows when to nudge, when to sit in silence and wait to let your brain make the connection, when to support, affirm, or encourage.I have vast experience in explaining some of the most difficult concepts to kids and college students. Extremely adaptable, I will make sure you will succeed in what ever area you wish
OHHHHHHH! Thats what I enjoy about my work: that moment of realization of something new and neurons making connections forever. I enjoy helping people connect the dots and apply them to everyday life.
I have tutored at Berkeley and Stanford in a multitude of math subjects. I have received A's in Differential Calculus 1, 2, 3, Discrete Math, and Abstract Algebra. I received 5's on Ap Calculus AB, Ap Calculus BC and Ap Stats. I obtained a 5 on Ap Physics 1, Both Ap Physics C Mechanics and E&M, and Ap Chemistry. At Stanford I successfully finished the full series of Undergraduate physics and Chemistry courses required for fulfilling GE requirements. I have given a TEDX talk on A.I and have numerous apps on the app store: Qviq, Political U Birds...etc. I have worked as a Software Engineer have led/mentored groups to push products into market. I have great communication skills.

Before I even start teaching I take 5 minutes to evaluate the students skills and goals for our sessions either on the phone or before Session Starts. Additionally, I talk to the parents to evaluate their goals and aspirations for their child.
From There I create a plan for the student.
I primarily focus on helping the student learn quick techniques to concoring the most difficult problems. I ask the student questions during our session to make sure they have fully mastered the subject. I also situate a subject discipline in their work which will become evident as quick as the first sesion.
