About Kimi
I have tutored middle school students in math for one semester. While I may not have much experience tutoring, I am passionate about the accessibility of education and sharing my insights with students. I am a math major and have taken many math classes throughout my educational journey. I would love to share my love for math with students.
I enjoy tutoring because it allows me to share my passion for math and other subjects. It's very rewarding seeing a student's progress and understanding develop.
Since I am a math major, I have taken many courses that I think have prepared me to share my knowledge with other students. The one-semester I tutored students also has prepared me to communicate and teach efficiently.

To get a general sense of where a student is at, I first ask (prior to the meeting) what types of topics are currently covered in the student's class. Then, during the session, if there is any classwork or homework to go over, we can discuss the student's thought process and how they approach problems.
