About Lucas
I'm a junior at Columbia University, and I have 3+ years of experience tutoring middle and high school students in a variety of subjects, including, math, english, and standardized test prep. I provide personalized support to all my students, and I see learning as a collaborative process that is most effective with input from myself, parents, and of course the student themselves.
I've taken the SAT and ACT, and spent a lot of time studying for both. In college, english and writing are most connected to my major, but I have a background in math and science as well.

Generally I start my either reviewing their grasp of the material they want to cover - any past experience, etc. Then work with them on figuring out how they learn best and come up with an individual plan for moving forward.

He was an extremely patient, helpful tutor who greatly increased my SAT score--specifically with the math and reading sections.
I adored the way that Lucas made hoity-toity topics like “maths” and “geography” approachable to the average, working-stiff like me, Moe Ronn.
