About Alexis
Long time math enthusiast that always had a passion for math starting at a young age. Continued with this throughout my college career, majoring in Industrial and Systems Engineering and now working as a Technology Associate in NYC. I love helping students learn new math techniques and try to find the root cause of why a student may not be understanding a specific topic. Going back to the basics of math can really empower a student to be able to tackle new and complex problems.
I was previously a tutor at Mathnasium for 6 years working with students in Pre-K all the way to seniors in high school. During the pandemic I also worked with a lot of students virtually but would also be opent to working in person!
