About Kristen

As a teacher, I truly care about my students and strive to help them become the best they can be. I believe that every student can be successful regardless of their background. My goal is to help every one of my students fall in love with learning and realize they can do anything they want to do if they put their minds to it!

Of the many things that I enjoy about teaching, my favorite is seeing a child's face light up with new knowledge and discovery!

I served a year with NET Ministires, a non-profit organization that puts on retreats for youth of all across the country. This year had a huge impact on my life and ignited a passion within me to teach children and help them realize they can be successful no matter where they come from.

I currently hold both North Dakota and Minnesota Elementary Teaching Licenses. I teach fifth grade in Waconia, MN and I offer extra support to my students with before and after school tutoring.
