About Kayhan
I bring a friendly face to all students and a caring perspective. I believe that the level at which my students perform is a reflection of myself. I want them to succeed just as much as they do, which is why I bring a dedicated and driven midnset to the students I teach. Last semester I was a TA (teachers assistant) for a college physics course at George Washington University. I developed numerous teaching techniques during this time that resulted in rapid improvement of grades.
The greatest feeling when teaching is seeing the student's face at the moment of realization when it all clicks. I love seeing improvement from students by first making them feel reassured that they are very capable of learning, and then by employing hands-on teaching techniques that play to the students strengths and simplify challenging concepts. I'm fully aware that no two studants are the same, which might just be the best part of teaching. I always adapt my teaching style to the student based on their needs and I believe that every new student I work with makes me better as a teacher. We both grow together.
