About Bernadette
I love helping students learn, I love math and want to help in any way I can.I have been tutoring in Math for over 20 years, I tutor in any math from elementary math to college algeba, accounting, and ACT Prep. I have math in school for years. Presently I teach a homeschool group of 11 students. I have a BA in Mathematics and am almost finished with my Masters in Accounting. I have references if you would like to contact them.
I have always loved math and wanted to teach math. I started tutoring when my children were young, because I was able to work around my schedule with my children.
I have a BA in Mathematics, and am almost finished with my Masters in Accounting. I have tutored for over 20 years, have thaught math for many years. Currently I am teaching a homeschool group of 11 students that range from grade 5 to 11.

First will ask them to show me their work and work problems with them. If extra work is needed I provide problems to help. An Example if student is have problems with fractions, we will start basic until they gasp subject. I give students opportunity to ask questions.
I work with any grade level in math. I have currently students from 3rd to 12th grade. I also have college students that I tutor in Math and Accounting.
I would tell them to be sure and have work they are struggling with if possible and/or examples of problems they are having. Be sure to ask questions when they do not understand something.
I love to go to Football Camps with my son, recently he was able to attend a camp at LSU. Was able to speak with Coach O, about one of my students I tutor that has committed to LSU.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Students need to be able to ask questions related to their issue. Be sure to think of actual problems they are stuggling with.
