My philosophy is that a tutor must develop a relationship with the student. It is important to earn their trust. Then and only can success be achieved. I also believe in consistency. First, I take time to get to know the student and I learn what they enjoy doing. Then, I determine the level at which they can do math. I start with a warm-up, then I do a guided lesson with a document camera to offer lots of examples. I am familiar with numerous math applications that can assist with further pradctice.
