About Carl
I'm young and relatable to the students as I am closer to their age and have more recently been through middle/high school. I took a multitude of college level classes in high school and am currently in college. Therefore, I can share my experiences with the way you are taught in college and the best ways to approach problems on tests and study. Additionally, in high school I was voted to be president of the National Honors Society and participated in many volunteering events. This included tutoring fellow students, which I had done for 2 years. I tutored primarily math classes ranging from Prealgebra to Precalculus. Additionally, I used to help teach classes at my old karate school, where I had achieved the rank of First Degree Black Belt. I spent 1-2 days every week teaching kids ages 8-13. Also, growing up with a sister who has Asperger's syndrome I learned how to cooperate and work with people who have disabilities. This helped me develop a lot of patience and the ability to accommodate those who may not understand things too easily.
I enjoy helping others and seeing other people succeed. I was taught all throughout my childhood to help others and to be a good leader when working in a group. This made me want to become a good teacher to others in order to spread knowledge and help others.
