About Ahsan
Hello!
I am a recent graduate from university with over 5 years of in-person and online tutoring. I have worked with students struggling in many areas of school or college, and have developed a personalized plan to excel each and every one of them to the top!
My belief is that each and every student is different and that it is my job to tailor the experience to match their learning style.
Having started this as a passion of mine, I am always delighted to take in students into my schedule and help them improve their understanding.
Subjects as follows: K-12 Math, College Level Math, SAT/ACT Test Preparation, Middle School/High School Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics), and more.
Contact me today to have a one-on-one call and decide if I am the right fit for you.
No commitment required, I let the results speak for themselves!
- Ahsan Khan, Learning Hub
During my senior year of high school, I realized a lot of students were struggling with K-12 education, and this was setting them up for tougher times at college. I decided to try out tutoring for my classmates at school during free time. This quickly evolved into my passion - working with students and helping them succeed - and before I knew it, I was working with students full-time.

I like to evaluate where a student is in the learning process and work from there accordingly. One of my immediate goals is to make sure the student tells me what they understand and what they don't. This allows me to create a custom strategy for that student in order for them to master the content. Questions and feedback are always welcome and I make sure to tailor every lesson plan to the student as needed.
I have experience with all age ranges in K-12 as well as Undergraduate College studies. My specific expertise and preferred range is 4th grade or higher.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
One of my personal beliefs is that there are no bad questions! When I am working with a student, I make sure that the student feels comfortable to ask about any concept they are unsure about so we can address their concern. This is one of the most proven strategies for effective tutoring results, and I am proud to provide this environment for all my students.

Perfect! Ahsan is a fabulous tutor that I wholeheartedly recommend. Thorough, efficient and well-organized, Ahsan identified the underlying concepts our child needed to better comprehend and instilled in her confidence along with the skills necessary to perform very well on her exams.

Excel Tutoring was great to work with. I worked with Ahsan and before starting our sessions he had me send him my course outline to make sure he was able to assist me with the material. He helped me with Math and was extremely knowledgeable and communicated clearly in a way which helped me learn a subject I've had difficulty with in the past. Anything we came across that he wasn't familiar with he would figure it out on the spot while simultaneously explaining the process to me. He also specializes in Computer Science and I'm currently in the process of scheduling him for help with that as well. Overall the experience working with Ahsan exceeded my expectations and I would recommend him to anyone needing assistance with Math!
My son had a wonderful experience with Ahsan. Very clear and thought out lesson plans and just overall great results for my son. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for easy online tutoring for their child.
We've tried tutors in the past, but Ahsan has a special gift for explaining complex concepts and was such a pleasure to work with. His experience with online learning made it so easy and convenient for my daughter to connect when she needed extra help. I can't recommend him enough.
Ahsan is a very smart and talented young man who’s great in assisting one to understand mathematic material. An intelligent individual who can guide one to understand mathematical concepts in numerous ways. Ahsan helped me in my classes and I’m confident I have better improved in my skills through his help. Overall a great guy who cares a lot about helping you succeed in whatever field need be.
My son is very happy with his improvement while working with Ahsan on Pre-Calculus. Ahsan's ways of teaching methods are very useful and my son caught on really easily. Would recommend for Math tutors.
Ahsan was a great help for my daughter and she loved working with him. She went from mid 70s to high 90s in just 2 weeks in her Algebra class! He was also very flexible and accommodating for our availability.
Ahsan was great with both my kids. He was very patient and flexible with timings. Always punctual and on -time. Highly recommended :)
