About Caela funaro
With 10 years of teaching, tutoring and college essay mentoring experience, Michaela will empower you to bring your whole self out and strategize your college readiness path! Her approach uniquely activates the dynamic stories that make us who we are. As daunting as it was, tackling 33 vague college essay prompts helped her discover her passions and aspirations and everyday she supports this introspective process in her students. I always start with a trial and consultation (60 minutes free of charge), to explore a service of interest and talk with families about everything from academic progress and needs to social and emotional development. I look at IEP's and educational testing as needed and give a recommendation on continued work together. I take into account each family's logistical needs related to travel, academic resources, structure and communication and tailor my work to meet their needs.
