About
I am Michelle and I have always loved helping students learn new things and improve on those things they already know. I have taught and tutored students from elementary school through adults. I taught Algebra and Art in a high school and subbed in a K-8 charter school. When I wasn't subbing, I helped first graders who struggled with reading, read with second graders, and tutored fourth graders in English and math to improve their scores. I have also tutored private clients and worked with homeschoolers.
I have worked with students for whom learning is a challenge and with those who need more challenges in their learning. Each learner is different with their own strengths and weaknesses. Once you uncover what these are, you can really improve their skills. I work very hard to help the students as individuals.
