About Julia
At Mathnasium Learning Centers, we make math make sense! Whether your child started out far behind or already ahead in math, Mathnasium will help them leap ahead because we know that any child can be successful in math—it’s a matter of teaching it in a way that makes sense to them.
Our experienced math tutors utilize our proprietary teaching materials and techniques, The Mathnasium MethodTM, to deliver a customized learning plan designed to address each student's needs. Our instructional approach goes beyond traditional math tutoring to develop understanding and build a love for math.
If math is a problem, Mathnasium can solve it. Students will grow more excited and confident about math—and their grades will reflect that.
For students who already excel in math, the sky’s the limit. They will work to expand their math skills and, with math learning made exciting, can see all the doors that being great at math can open.
I love seeing kids excel at math, gain confidence and learn to love math! Each day, I make it my goal to ensure that students have an effective, engaging, and encouraging learning experience that cultivates an intuitive understanding of math. I do this by selecting highly trained instructors who are passionate about math, maintaining the best environment for learning, and always staying positive. At Mathnasium, we offer the tools to help young learners improve critical math skills and understanding, regardless of their current ability level. We look forward to working with you and helping to build a successful future for your child.
Many of our instructors are certified teachers in Middle or High School. All of our instructors must pass two very comprehensive exams and go through the Mathnasium training program All instructors must have several years of tutoring or teaching experience as well.

First we schedule an Assessment and create a customized learning plan for each child. We can also priorizite the learning plan to correspond to current math topics at school. We also help with homework and preparing for tests and quizzes. Typically the students attend 1 to 2 times per week.
