About Reauxqkwuanzyiia
Hello and welcome to Smart Thought Tutoring. My name is Quanzi and, to briefly introduce myself, I have been tutoring since 2016. I have experience tutoring many ages, but I primarily work with K-12. I tutor Reading, Writing, Mathematics, and I even have SAT Prep experience.
My approach is simple. I talk to my clients to understand their concerns, and I take the time to develop a learning plan for each person. I engage with my clients by asking probing questions and allowing them to explain what they understand of the material. I look for gaps in learning and provide extra instruction on those gaps, so my clients understand the entire concept. I take my time to ensure my students understand the lessons. I provide extra practice to ensure the lessons are thoroughly understood.
I am passionate about learning and helping others to learn. I enjoy helping others to understand something that was once difficult and seeing them grow in confidence. If you need learning help, please feel free to reach out. I look forward to working with you. See you soon!
I started with tutoring family and friends. Eventually, I applied for a tutoring company and I worked there for some time traveling to students and tutuoring virtually.
I have a Bachleor's degree in Biology and a Master's degree in Biotechnology. There has been a strong emphasis on science, reading, and math in my degree programs, as these subjects are all intertwined. I also have many years of informal tutoring experience and 2 years of formal experience with a tutoring company.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
They should think about the subjects they do not like and why they do not like them. They should think about why they believe a subject is hard. Those subjects are probably the ones they have the most difficulty with, because there is a foundational gap that was missed in prior learning, or the teaching style makes things difficult for them. I once had a teacher who was very knowledgeable, but she didn't communicate well, and that played a role in why I struggled to understand. When I had a teacher who was enthusiastic and explained the concepts well, my grades soared.
