About John
As a Marine veteran and a Mathematics major at the U.S. Naval Academy, I have had the opportunity to develop solid technical and people/mentoring skills. At the Naval Academy, I spent some evenings tutoring fellow students in math. In high school, I scored a 5 on the AP Calculus exam. I have also earned an MBA with a focus in Finance from Boston College.
I very much enjoy working with others to help develop a deeper understanding of concepts. I am patient, kind, personable, and reliable. I would be excited to explore tutoring with you!
A little bit about my approach to tutoring: My goal is to help you understand concepts at a deeper level so that you develop an intuition for math that you never knew you had! I enjoy simplifying concepts to the point that we reach a mutual understanding and then we will build off that understanding.
