About Jackson
I am qualified in teaching mathematics from grades 4-8 and have over 3.5 years experience tutoring in an enrichment program called Growing IQ. I worked with students from 3rd grade to 7th grade learn up to Algebra 1 math concepts.
I love working with practical applications of math; most students learn better when they have something they can touch or do other than writing stuff down. The best moments for me though are when students get that spark of understanding in their eye after we've discussed and practiced the concept.
I have a certification in Math 4-8 that I recieved in December 2020. I also worked at an enrichment program called Growing IQ from March 2018 to July 2021.
