Nick is well versed it all aspects of Jiu Jitsu. He’s very thorough in his teaching and explains every step in a way you can really understand and retain. Since I started training with Nick I can tell my skills in Jiu Jitsu have grown exponentially.

I was new when I started Brazilian Jiujitsu at Serra and Nick helped me feel welcomed to this new experience. His stand up game is phenomenal and every lesson I take, I add a new skill to my arsenal. He is a wonderful instructor and I am looking forward to working with him in the future and years to come.

Working one on one private lessons with Coach Nick has helped elevate my Bjj game, especially in certain fundamental aspects such as guard passing and guard retention. Moreover, it’s sharpened the submission skills we’ve worked on. Coach Nick is very direct and technical with his instruction. He will work on a plan with you and cater the lesson off of that. He sees and corrects the little things in your game that make a BIG difference! Also, we have always allotted time to roll at the end of our 1 hour lessons. This has given me a great opportunity to grapple with a much higher skilled Bjj practitioner to get a feel of what it’s like.

Gullo is able to identify what problems you have in your grappling game and make sure you rep and drill enough to solve those problems. His knowledge of grappling is tremendous and really made me understand that there are levels to this game and he can help you regardless of your level or skill set. Gullo is probably one of the best teachers/instructors I’ve ever in my life and I highly recommend learning from him

I liked his style of teaching and his level of caring for his student. The moves that he teaches are at the highest level and he genuinely cares about the growth of the student.
