About Maryanne
I got started teaching when my little sister started school and I saw that her teachers were not helping her the way that she needed to be assisted. I would create lessons and guides for her personal needs.
I have tutored since I was 8 and have helped out students in all of my classes even now in college. I have taken all college basics and ended with final grades of B or better.

When working with a new student, I like to let them work out what they know, think they know, and have no idea how to do's. By seeing how they work, I can get an idea as to how I should construct a new or easier way for them to understand. From there, I try new techniques until we find the best match and they can teach other students or myself back the material.
Feel comfortable with who you are going to study with. They are going to be with you for many hours of your week, and you should feel comfortable and confident. If you are choosing someone because of your parents or peer pressure then the material might not stick and you can never actually open up for them to fully help you understand the content.
