About Maya
I am an Honors student at the University of New Hampshire! I just returned from studying abroad in Hungary and I am willing to work with any elementary or high school student that may be struggling with their online classes right now.
I love working with kids and problem solving. I've had to take online classes back in high school, so I know firsthand how challenging it can be to have to learn independently.
I've been tutoring and helping my peers in college, and considering the state of things in the world right now... I just wanted to put my help out there for any families and students that may need it.
I am finishing up my junior year in college and I have always just had a great zest for learning. I love history, mythology, social studies, reading, writing, art, and even algebra! I would love to be able to share that love of learning with students that may be a bit put off by their current method of learning.

I think it's important to build a relationship first. In virtual teaching it's harder for teachers to build strong relationships with their students to be able to help them with individual needs. I will be able to help them with comprehensive education that they may be missing out on with virtual teaching.
