About Joseph
Having played rock and popular music professionally and semi-professionally in NYC and NJ for 58 years, I can show you how to play using the "Nashville system" which dispenses with staff music and will allow you to transpose or improvise readily in any style of music.
I have a very long perspective playing rock and fusion jazz since 1964, and can have you playing the music you love on guitar or bass very quickly indeed, using the songs you love as the teaching vehicle. Learning the songs you love will motivate you to early success!!! Plus I do on site guitar and bass repairs and modifications, and build full custom guitars and pickups!
Seeing the "light go on" in my students and watching their playing and understanding of music develop and grow, as well as seeing my students gigging!
I have played professionally and semi-professionally for 58 years in NYC and surrounding areas, and have played on records, as a session player, and band consultant.
I have a thorough grasp of music and a unique ability to simplify and explain guitar, bass and music theory in a way that most people can readily and easily understand!
