About Aubrey
I am a teacher in St. Tammany Parish and would love to tutor your child! I graduated from LSU in English Secondary Education in 2017 and am currently pursuing an M. Ed. in Special Education at Northwestern University. I have three years of teaching experience, two teaching 10th grade ELA and one teaching 8th grade ELA to students with learning disabilities. Although I am certified for grades 6-12, I have experience tutoring students of all ages in reading and writing. I would love to help your child improve their reading, writing, and communication skills with my own materials or by helping them complete homework, study for tests, or write essays and book reports. I believe in teaching children, not lessons. I will meet your children where they are and help them grow while being a calming, comforting presence.
I love building relationships with students and helping them achieve their goals and develop a love for learning.
