About Emma
I am a senior journalism major at the UNC-Chapel Hill Hussman School of Journalism and Media and copy editing chief at The Daily Tar Heel. For over 4 years, I've edited written work for style, grammar, flow, readability, and concision. Having stepped into a top leadership role at the newspaper this year, I've fostered an inclusive community with my staff by giving one-on-one editing feedback and taking a person-first approach to teaching. Throughout my college experience, I've provided comprehensive edit suggestions for application essays for friends, family, and colleagues. The most important aspect of a working relationship (between me and parents as well as your child), is clear communication so I make that my utmost priority! Editing has been a passion of mine for years and I'm thrilled to be helping your child with this important step in their lives!
