About Matt
i start with the green and go backward to the tee when I teach. I also am very personable and absolutely love the game.
I love to see improvement in my student and have them shoot lower scores.

I find out about their game, their goals and what their strengths and weaknesses are and if they have any disabilities. I then find out about my student and develop a game plan to improve their game.
I have worked with all age ranges. I used to run a junior camp of kids aged 5-12 and also have worked with people in their 70’s.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Just where they want to go in golf. It doesn’t matter if your goal is to break par or just beat your buddies. You just want to have a goal when you are working on things, so you see the improvement and know you are going through the right process.

Perfect! In 1 hour both my brother and I both learned proper setup for making good contact with irons. I was also shown how to setup when in a bunker. It usually takes me 4 or 5 shots and in 10 minutes I was hitting the ball out of the bunker in 1 shot and landing within 5 feet of the hole every time.
My brother and I will definitely be taking more lessons.- Thank you for your review Brendon. Glad I could help you both you and Chris develop the right setup and we will continue the process to breaking 100. Looking forward to working with you both.Matt's response :
Perfect! Very knowledgeable and helpful... definitely pointed me in the right direction....good teacher...will use him again.
Perfect! Noticed instant improvement in the first lesson! 10/10 recommend… he’s the real deal. Will be booking again.
Perfect! I've only had one 45 minute lesson with Matt, but with a few changes to my swing he had me hitting my irons and driver further and more consistently than I ever have. Thanks, Matt
Excellent! Matt is great. We had some problems at the beginning with communication, but was worked out and my husband is very pleased with Matt’s instruction.
Perfect! Matt is an awesome golf instructor. He is kind, patient, and knowledgeable. My ball striking ability improved 100% after the first lesson! And by the second lesson, the distance I achieved and the direction my shots were going was incredible. I highly recommend Right Direction Golf!!
Perfect! Great attention to detail, very knowledgeable. Looking forward to continuing my lessons. 1 lesson in and already have improvement.

I came to Matt as a fairly new golfer with no past instruction. He has helped me develop a swing that is much more accurate and consistent and allowed me to score in the low 90s in less than a year. Would definitely recommend if you are looking to improve your game quickly.
