About Kim
I know how frustrating it is to be asked to repeat yourself or speak more slowly! I want to help you feel confident with your spoken English so you can achieve your social, academic, and career goals.
I hold a Master's degree in communication sciences and disorders and I have worked for the last 23 years helping people improve their speech and language skills to become more effective communicators.
Currently I provide online speech coaching services for English language learners. As your speech coach, we will work on the sounds, rhythm, and intonation patterns of spoken American English to help you meet your goals.

Helping people communicate has always been my passion! I started working as a speech and language pathologist over 20 years ago. In that role my job has been to help those with communication needs regain speech and language function.
I began my role as an Accent and Pronunciation Coach when I founded my company, Kennebec Speech and Accent Services. I am excited to help you meet your speech and communication goals!

About the lesson

I will work with you online through the Zoom platform. Sessions are 60 minutes long once a week. Initially we will plan for a course of 10-12 weeks with the option of extending if needed.
We will work on those speech sounds which will best improve the clarity of your speech. We will also address the stress and intonation patterns of American English.
After each lesson you will be given practice items to work on until we meet again. Expect to spend 15-20 minutes a day working to meet your goals.
