About Melanie
Hi, I'm Melanie. I am currently a college student studying Environmental Studies and Peace and Conflict Studies. I have been studying French for over 4 years. I have been certified bilingual by the state of New Jersey. I am fluent in French and can help any beginner learner at any age. I can help with grammar, spelling, conversation, reading, pronunciation, and much more. Video calls through Zoom, FaceTime lessons, or phone call sessions are within my capabilities. I am very patient and understand how difficult it is to learn a new language, but it can be super fun!
I am a current college student and I have never taught professionally, but my biliteracy certificate says I am at the level of a French teacher.
I have studied French for 4 years. I have also been certified bilingual by the state of New Jersey. I have experience working with younger students and am able to be patient throughout the learning process.

If you are a beginner learner we will start out with the basics. I will cover the pronunciation for the French alphabet which will lay the groundwork for pronunciation. We would move on to pronouns, basic conversational phrases, important verbs, and conjugation. French is best learned through verbal communication, but it can be helpful to write somethings down to visualize the words.
Be patient, learning a new language is tough and can be frustrating at times. Eventually, you will get the hang of it.
