As she is a half native speaker in French and grew up speaking French she can help you out with your pronunciation, grammar and vocabulary in a way that you couldn’t get from a non-native. Katie helped me a lot with my English. She always tailored lessons around my aims and gave me notes after our classes to help me do well in my studies and prepare better for the exams at my school. Katie helped me to gain confidence in English so that I can use the language better. Katie tailored the lessons to me which was a big change from the boring language classes I am used to where the teacher covers things I won’t use or doesn’t show you how to use the language properly. Katie brings the material to life and provides you with tools to help you use your language in an experience based way. I took 20 French lessons with Katie- mostly concentrating on spoken French. I found that Katie was an excellent tutor, very helpful and kind. Even though my spoken French was really weak and it would take me ages to say basic sentences, she was always so patient and gave corrections in a really nice, positive way. I would highly recommend Katie as a tutor.
