Hello parents, staff, or students, I'm Nathan Houser and I like to write those boring research essays that, eventually, become mandatory in every discipline.
Regardless of the subject or the seemingly daunting task ahead of you, I can assure you that every type of essay boils down into the same components: audience, approach, and intention. Rhetoric is the art of persuasion and engagement.
If you fear or dislike the subject due to previous nitpicky teachers glued to their rubrics--which, more often than not, did more harm than good--then give me a chance in altering this viewpoint. I know we'll be able to find at least one way of laying the foundation that will pique your interest.

Why am I attempting to become a Turor? • Personal Experience:

I've tutored my peers in the past (as well as my nieces and nephews) on Alebra & Writing and the "aha" moment that they experience, as well as their beaming smiles from earning an A or a B, is a wonderful and infectious feeling.
Of course this was in high school and early college and I never charged my friends or family for tutoring sessions because I both enjoyed it and teaching material, such as essay/dissertation writing, allowed me to improve as well. Because there's never a point in which you can't learn more about your subject, regardless if you're an "expert" or new.
While I do dislike putting a value on my tutoring sessions and programs because it feels a bit insincere and arbitrary--at least, somewhat--as a 26-year-old man with a pacemaker in the US, I can't take the risk of not having health insurance.
I suppose then, after having re-read my ramblings above, that my business stands out in authenticity, passion, and that I don't want your money but rather need it. That's not true, I do want it because financial security is a warm cozy blanket in this current economic and sociopolitical blizzard.

He proofread and rewrote the introduction of my college applicant essay before teaching me a few things about writing that deviated completely from what APLIT in HS was having me do. I never really thought of what an essay's purpose was, all I ever thought of was an introduction, conclusion, and three body paragraphs. APLIT was mostly book reports so I was completely thrown off by the difference in approach and style each of us took for the introduction. His sentences flowed together instead of the choppy bits of facts and info-dumps I was use to reading and writing. He also taught me about ethos, pathos, logos, and kairos from the Greek Philosopher Aristotle.
**He didn't let me use his paragraph, he only let me see it as a reference. I don't want to implicate anything shady**Very patient.
