About Madison
I have a degree in English and Creative Writing from the Univeristy of Iowa. I can't wait to share my passion for writing with all of you! I am more than happy to tutor everything from reading level to paper writing.
Here's my offical website! (concealed information)
I started by helping out a friend and found that I very much enjoyed it! I also love to share my fondness for literature and writing with everyone I can.
I have done some tutoring before, mainly with advancing reading levels. However, my degree enables me to be able to help college level students with essays and literature analysis.

I like to have our first session be an outline of the student's goals, and a discussion of what has or has not worked in the past. I want to involve the student in the creation of the lesson plan so I know we'll do what works best for them.
Have a few concrete goals beforehand so you know specifically what you need or want to work on. That will help tremenously with devising what kind of lessions to give you so we can get the most out of the sessions together.
One of my students got me a very nice thermous for my birthday! She even remembered that my favorite color was purple and was sure to get one with a lot of purple on it. Definitly my favorite birthday present this year.
