About Alexandria
I have loved the English language since I can remember! Being a tutor allows me to be immersed in it, which brings me lots of peace and joy!
Everyone has their own style, but there are fundamentals which much be learned before you figure out your voice.
I help students figure out the language using metaphors and word origins, which makes learning more fun and, I believe, solidifies learning.
I've enjoyed English and Language Arts for as long as I can remember! It was always my favorite subject (probably because it came easiest to me - but I really started enjoying it.)
I helped my fellow classmates during open study who were struggling with the material. From there, I grew to love tutoring others and those "lightbulb" moments when something would "click" for the student. From there, I've worked with different online tutoring companies as a freelance tutor and copy editor. I love the English language because you can never stop learning it! Even now, as someone who has a thorough understanding of the language, I learn new things and discover new ways of using English.

I gauge where you're at with the language by sending a couple of quizzes which will help me see where you need help.
From there, I will work with you to figure out what schedule works for you, how quickly you want to reach your goal, and from there, start creating lesson plans.
As an online freelance tutor, I usually only am provided with the student's age and education background but usually they range anywhere between 15-35 years of age, and 0-10 years of experience learning the English language.
I loved bringing my son to the park to play and just soak up some Vitamin D. It was the first time in a week we had just played outside, and it was very stress-relieving!
