About Danika
Secondary Education Major at Alverno College!
I have been working with kids of all ages since my Freshman year of highschool and it's something I love to do. I love to share my vast knowledge of human biology, math and languaes to people. I have been advance in all three subjects my whole life and I was even able to skip four college math classes! I love to help people succede and work through their problems and learn from them, I also help expand knowledge of topics using little tips and tricks I tought myself through my schooling.
I have volunteered with Girl Scouts for years now teaching girls life skills and how to approach social situations, which is where I got my love for teaching. Now at Alverno I am a secondary Education Major, where I plan to become a High School Biology teacher.

When working with a new student I like to ask them about a few different things; their learning style, if they like anything about the subject I'm helping them with, what they don't like, and then what they love to do in their freetime. After getting those answers I like to go through and see what they struggle with most and what needs less help, this way I can tailor lesson plans that will motivate them and help them with learning new information.
