About Julia
Hello!
My name is Julia and I am a recent college graduate passionate about helping you reach your academic goals! I am a CRLA certified tutor and have two years of experience tutoring college undergraduates in a variety of subjects with a variety of needs. My goal is not to simply tell you the information, but to give you the skills you need to understand problems and work through them.
I love seeing students not need me anymore! I know this may sound counterinturive, but I love nothing more than instilling sound strategies into my students and them feeling confident to go on without me. It is my goal for all of my students to feel so comfortable with the material that they can embark on their own.
During my undergraduate career, I realized how helpful personalized instruction was and how much that helped me. In my junior year, I decided to pay the knowledge that I learned forward!
I'm a CRLA certified tutor with two years of experience tutoring undergraduates at a public research university.

Our first step is to establish a baseline for where you are at in a given subjects. Together, we will do a short assessment that I or another teacher has given you. From there, I will establish a plan so you can get the most out of each session. My sessions focus heavily on learning strategies and study skills.
