About Kristina
Hi everyone!
I'm Kristina, a college freshman. I'm in school to become an elementary teacher. I love working with kids and helping them grow. I recognize that some students need slightly more attention than others and tutoring is a wonderful way for them to receive one-on-one time.
I love helping other succeed. It brings me joy to be able to see someone overcome their struggles or generally improve.
I've always had a love for children and education and knew from a young age I wanted to be a teacher.
I have a high school diploma and working towards a bachelors.

I like to begin with some worksheets or assignments that are below their skill and above their skill just to help judge where they need the most improvement.
I've worked mainly with younger students.
Recently I had a child who needed help with learning multiplication. He was struggling to understand the concept until I gave him a visual using goldfish crackers. I used the proper amount for each equation and then let him eat them if he got the answer right. He then started to grasp the concept.
