About Blair
I love creating sessions that cater to my students individual interests and needs. It's so much more rewarding for both of us to learn through engaging content during our short time together, rather than making it feel like a chore. Before we know it, time is up!
I am a career changer! I enrolled in an accelerated Master's program a few years ago and have been teaching for 3 years.
I am certified in Elementary Education grades 1-6 and Special Education grades 1-6. I'll be graduating with my Masters in both in May 2021.
I am trained in Fontus and Pinnell Leveled Literacy assessments as well as Leveled Literacy Intervention, ADHD Behavior Scales and more!

My typical process is to get to know the student, particularly their strengths and struggles, but most importantly their interests so that I can cater our time together towards lessons they will stay engaged with!
From there I will discuss with the parents as to how we will move forward, and constantly assess if our sessions are working, how we can adjust etc.
All of my classrooms have been ICT classrooms, both general education as well as special education students.
