About Alana

I provide ACT Reasing and English Test Preparation as well as English and History tutoring for grades 6-12. My high school courses included AP, English Literature (4), AP English Language (4), AP US History (4), and AP US Government and Politics (3). Additionally, I took both the ACT (29) and SAT (1310) earning scores in each of the sections that provided me with generous scholarships to several prestigious universities including the school I have recently graduated from: Fordham University. The breakdown of my ACT and SAT scores can be made available to prospective students if requested. At Fordham I studied History with a minor in Classical Civilizations and a concentration in Pre-Law studies. While at Fordham I have taken a wide array of history courses some of which include "The Founders Constitution," "Athenian Democracy," "Transgender History," and "Hitlers Germany." A more extensive course list is available upon request. In my senior year I accomplished several prestigious tasks including completing an undergraduate thesis paper (available upon request,) joining the Phi Alpha Theta History Honors Society, and graduating with an honors in History degree in May 2020. Finally, I will be attending law school in the Fall on a generous scholarship and plan to pursue a career as a lawyer.
